They are from Sydney NRL The club has contacted the police after one of its players was caught trying to cover up an indecent image posted online.
According to Sydney Morning HeraldThe “representative star” contacted his team this week to inform them of the news.
The actor apparently posted a nude photo to another social media account, before being asked to pay $5000 to prevent the photo from being shared with friends and family on the account.
When the player refused to pay, the picture was sent to his loved ones, which caused a red comment.
“The matter has been reported to the police and important media companies,” a club spokesman said Sydney Morning Herald.
“It is important to know that a football player is the one who has been abused here. It seems that things like this happen often to people in different communities.”
The incident comes just over a week after the AFL confirmed an investigation into a collection of nude and intimate photos of 50 former and current players was illegally distributed.
“It appears that there has been a great deal of work to collect images and create files for distribution,” one AFL column read.
“The AFL has no knowledge as to why personal images have been published illegally and without permission or purpose in doing so.”
