Tom Cruise led Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1, directed by Christopher McQuarrie, has taken off very well at the Indian Box Office despite its release on a non-holiday Wednesday. The movie, based on the early previews, is vying to become the biggest opening date for a Hollywood film in 2023. The competition with Fast X is very tough. While Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 is ahead of Fast X in the top three categories, Fast X did well in smaller areas. Currently, the first day box office collection is expected to be around Rs 12.25 – 13.25 crores nett. The bigger chance is that the film will make Fast X look like a huge opening day.
Mission: Impossible – Deadly Countdown Part 1 Earned Rs 7.5 Crores In Top 3 Multiplexes Worldwide.
Objective: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 has collected around Rs 7.5 crores in the top three national categories. While PVR contributed Rs 4 crores, Inox managed Rs 2.20 crores. Cinepolis with Rs 1.30 crores also followed. This is the highest in a Hollywood film this year by 10 percent. The previous best of the year was Fast X which collected around Rs 6.95 crores nett in the top three categories. As mentioned above, Fast X had a lot of support in rural areas while Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 is getting more support from metros and big cities. The collection called M: I-7.1 is limited, which shows that it was not able to create the same results as the Fast series, among the heart listeners. Regardless, the hope was that the Tom Cruise starrer would continue to do well in the first weekend. If it succeeds, it will emerge as the highest grossing Hollywood film of 2023 in India.
