TOURISTS are facing a weather warning in Majorca as a heat wave continues across Southern Europe.
The Spanish island is expecting temperatures of 43C – and tomorrow is predicted to be the hottest day of the year.

The warning warns that this summer’s “stormy weather” is a “major risk” to health – experts are urging people to stay hydrated and stay in the shade as hot weather hits Europe.
People crossing the Mediterranean Sea are told avoid drinking alcohol and caffeine as the mercury rises in countries including Italy, Spain, France and Greece.
Meteorologists have announced that 2023 is the year of El Niño – a natural phenomenon that occurs around the world and causes changes in the global climate.
The UN’s World Meteorological Organization has said that it will increase the temperature around the world, and the effects may last throughout the year.
Health officials are reminding people to stay hydrated and seek shade from the sun, amid reports of people fainting from the heat.
And red weather warnings are in place for 16 cities in Italy, including Rome – where temperatures are expected to hit 43C.
A red alert indicates that the temperature is high enough to pose a health risk to the general population – not just vulnerable groups such as the elderly and very young children.
It comes after at least three people are believed to be dead in the scorching heat of Italy last week.
Meanwhile the roaster is on again started a wildfire on the island of La Palma in Spainwhich resulted in the displacement of more than 4,000 people.

But the UK Met Office said Brits are unlikely to experience similar temperatures this summer, saying there is “no sign in the forecast” that temperatures will reach. the heatwave the UK felt last year.
