Every month, Xbox players you can download and play a number of games for free as part of an Xbox Live Gold subscription, although the plan will expire soon.
Xbox Live Gold is being replaced by a new Game Pass feature, called Xbox Game Pass Core, on 14 September 2023and this means that the games presented in August 2023 will be the last set of Games With Gold ever.
Free games are not rolled over to new membership, though you may still have access to games you’ve already mentioned while you have a Game Pass membership of any kind.
Until then, Xbox Live Gold is not a free game. It also provides Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One X, Xbox One S as well as Xbox One owners access to online multiplayer games and discounts on many digital games on the Xbox Store.
