2023 is a great year to be an Android tablet fan. We have already seen the best OnePlus Padand Google itself Pixel Pixeland rumor has it that Samsung has a tablet in the works, too.


The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 The series has proven to be a popular option for those looking for more Android, and until recently, Samsung did not have much competition in the area.

But now, things are starting to heat up in tablets, and Google is making a change to the tablet Android 14it might be a good time for Samsung to impress us with its next-generation tablets.

The rumored release date is just around the corner, here’s everything we’ve heard so far.


Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 release date

Since the first rumors appeared, it has been said that the Galaxy Tab S9 series will be launched in the second half of 2023. Now, everything has been confirmed that we will be officially introduced to the new tablets on The Galaxy Unpacked event on July 26, 2023.

In contrast, the Galaxy Tab S8 series was launched in February 2022, and Pictures of the S7 which was launched in August 2020 – there is no established strategy for the launch of the Samsung tablet, which makes things difficult to predict.

Most of the leaks and rumors agree that the Tab S9 series will follow the same path as the Tab S8 series, and Galaxy S23 seriesthe reason.

This means we’ll be seeing a three-tiered launch, with the standard Tab S9 being the cheapest, the Ultra being the most powerful and the S9+ sitting in the middle.

However, there was rumours early on that said we might see a foldable tablet added to the list, too. We haven’t heard much about it since then, so we’re not sure how accurate it will be. If it proves true, it would be very interesting.

The design of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9

When it comes to design, most of the leaks we’ve seen revolve around the Tab S9+ and Tab S9 Ultra, we haven’t seen much speculation on the Tab S9 model yet. One rumours it is said that we will see a new beige color added this year, but it is not clear which colors it will have as an option.

According to they translate, the Galaxy Tab S9+ will be almost identical to the Tab S8+, the only major difference being the dual camera setup on the back. They are now differentiated as round glasses to match the Galaxy S23 model.

There is also a second sensor on the front of the bezel, which is thought to be a second 12MP selfie camera that can be used when the tablet is in the display – although details are limited here.

The Tab S9 Ultra delivers the same story, it’s the same as its predecessor, but the cameras have a new style of separation. This means that, perhaps unfortunately, the camera notch is still present on the Ultra’s display.

Both models have the signature magnetic S Pen slot on the back, as seen on the S8 series. We hope this theme will make its way to the Tab S9 version, too.

Starting with the original Galaxy Tab S9, display analyst Ross Young says we’ll see a shift to OLED panels on the 11-inch tablet. A big change in the LCD panel of the Galaxy Tab S8. Source report SamMobile indicates that it will be a 120Hz panel with a WQXGA+ resolution, too.

The Tab S9+ is said to have the same display as its predecessor, a 12.4-inch Super AMOLED panel with 2800×1752 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

The same is true of the Tab S9 Ultra, with the same design and size as the S8 Ultra. However, we can see the color accuracy, it is said to cover 120 percent of the DCI P3 color space – which is an upgrade from 100 percent on the S8 Ultra.

Until recently, most of the detailed rumors focused on the Ultra model, but now, a tipster Ishan Agarwal he shared what he believed to be the defining characteristic of all races.

All of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 models are said to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Galaxy SoC, the same slightly modified chip that powers the S23 series phones, which means they’ll all be more powerful. Both will support S Pen, have quad speakers and have IP68 for water and dust resistance.

The Tab S9 will get a smaller battery, moving up to 8,400 mAh from 8,000 mAh. Meanwhile the S9+ and Ultra will share the same power as their predecessors. There are rumors that the 45W speed will be the same for all models, too.

The Tab S9 and S9+ will both be available with 12GB of RAM while the top-of-the-range Ultra model will be available with 16GB. Storage capacity also increases across the range, with the S9 topping out at 256GB, the S9+ at 512GB and the Ultra available with a terabyte of internal storage.
