Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 Teaser Video, Ahead of Unpacked Galaxy Event, Shows New Hinge Design, Color Options

Before the event, Samsung has released a teaser video to give us a glimpse of what colors will be available for its next clamshell model with its redesigned hinge. The Galaxy Z Flip 5 seems to have no difference between its curved parts when the phone is folded. Through a teaser video, Samsung gave a clear look at the new model Galaxy Z Flip 5. The company posted a teaser with the hashtag “Join the flip side”. It features a cream, lavender and mint colored handset with a familiar clamshell that folds horizontally in the middle and a cover that allows users to complete tasks without opening the phone. As expected, following several leaks and rumors, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 appears to have a new hinge design to eliminate the gap between the halves when folded.

The Galaxy Z Fold 5 is also expected to get a new water hinge that will allow the device to fold seamlessly without any gaps. This can also allow phones to be silent when unlocked.

Samsung is planning to unveil the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 at its Galaxy Unpacked event on July 26 in Seoul, Korea. The tech giant has yet to reveal the price and features of the new flagship but rumors have already been swirling.

The Galaxy Z Flip 5 is said to come with the first price of EUR 1,199 (approx. Rs. 1,08,900). But point, it can run on Android 13 with One UI 5.1.1 on top with a Full-HD+ 6.7 inch (1,080, 2,640 pixels) Dynamic AMOLED large display and adjustable refresh rate up to 120Hz. The external screen is expected to be 3.4-inches in size with up to 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. It is expected to have Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. For optics, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 is expected to have a 12-megapixel main camera along with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide shooter. There may also be a 10-megapixel selfie camera. It is expected to pack a 3,700mAh battery.
