TRAVELERS were left furious when a dangerous passenger caused their flight to be diverted after they were confused about being served the wrong meal – but they hit back.

He said: “He said: ‘I’m a regular traveler like everyone else, but I decided because I was injured that I will take a 9.5 hour flight to Amsterdam, and I will donate $1,000.’

A United Airlines A spokesman said: “United flight 20 from George Bush Intercontinental Airport to Amsterdam diverted to O’Hare International Airport and landed safely following passenger chaos.
“The police met the plane at the gate and escorted the person on board. The plane then went to Amsterdam.”
