Oppenheimer’s first US show canceled amid SAG AFTRA
According to recent reports from Variety, the production banner Universal Pictures has decided to cancel the US premiere of Oppenheimer, which was supposed to take place on July 17, Monday. According to the latest updates, the Red Carpet event that was supposed to take place before the Christopher Nolan show will not take place as planned. But, the Cillian Murphy actor will continue with the show as planned.
“In support of the ongoing boycott of SAG, the filmmakers of ‘Oppenheimer’ will not be attending the NY premiere as originally planned, instead they will be screening the film to celebrate the crew and artisans who helped make this iconic film,” Universal confirmed. When Oppenheimer cast he left the UK for the start of the film
