Reports of injuries and damage to residential buildings in the Ukrainian capital due to debris falling from crashed drones.

Ukraine’s aviation security forces protested a Russian drone attacks for the third night in a row in and around Kyiv as emergency workers said they were investigating the damage caused by debris from the damaged equipment.

Kyiv military officials said Thursday morning that debris from a crashed drone hit the Solomyanskyi district in the center of the Ukrainian capital. At least two people were injured.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said the drones had also damaged a residential building in Darnytskyi district and there were reports of injuries. In the Shevchenkivskyi district of the city, a balcony caught fire. Emergency responders were on the scene, he said.

Explosions were also reported in other parts of Ukraine, including Khmelnytskyi in the west, Mykolaiv in the south and Zaporizhia in the southeast of the country.
