Braunwyn Windham-Burke and her girlfriend Jennifer Spinner are dating.
“I’ve never been happier,” the “Real Moms of Orange County” alum told People on Saturday, confirming news of her engagement to Spinner just over a year after they started dating.
“Jen is my person. She once said to me, ‘How do you love me?’ And I looked at him and I said, ‘It’s not the way I love you. It’s the way I love you a little bit. I love you on a molecular level.'”
Continuing, he said, “And that’s it. My DNA made him. I’m glad that now I can say, ‘This is my girlfriend’ — as I know, one day I will be able to say, ‘This is my wife.’”
Braunwyn – whose divorce from Sean Burke has not been finalized – popped the question at 14th Street Park in New York City as they recreated the couple’s first date across the city.
The reality star divorced Sean in October 2022 after 23 years of marriage.
The couple share seven children: Bella, 22, Rowan, 20, Jacob, 17, 9-year-old twins Caden and Curren, Koa, 7, and Hazel, 4.
“One of the reasons why I applied now was because I now have the final date of my divorce; we’re about 80 days away from closing,” he explained to People.
The former reality star said the couple “exchanged rings” and had their illegal wedding in Vegas because Braunwyn’s divorce “seems like forever” to them and they want to “establish their goals.” [their] agreement.”
The ex-boyfriend of Bravolebrity explained that this was like saying to each other, “This is what we promise to each other. This is our commitment to start a life together.”
“I asked today knowing that we can start planning the wedding. So it feels incredible.”

In March, Braunwyn told Page Six in an exclusive interview that the reason she filed for divorce was because Sean allegedly drained their bank account.
“That’s why I filed for divorce. If you were still legally married, there is not much to protect you,” he told us.
“So Sean leaked our joint bank accounts I don’t know,” she said.
To be honest, one day I woke up and had no access to any of my cards or money. That’s why I filed for divorce.”
However, since meeting Spinner, Braunwyn — who started thinking about it in 2020 — told People that her life today is what she’s “wanted for a long time.”
“I was always looking for something—whether it was alcohol, parties, a TV show or celebrity—and I couldn’t find it. And obviously, it is not one person who creates peace in you; it’s a bunch of things in your life coming together at once.
“But I can honestly say, Jen started the ball. And I’m not holding anything back,” he said.
“Finally I got it.”
