The Associated Press Reports say that the prison where Mr. Nassar is staying has been facing a shortage of staff.
All of the officers assigned to Nassar’s unit have reportedly been working overtime due to a lack of prison guards.

In 2018, Nassar was beaten in prison after being placed among civilians, as he claimed The Shade Room.
Earlier that year, a judge sentenced Nassar to 175 years in prison.
He is accused of raping female gymnasts and Olympic gold medalists. Many of the victims are famous Olympians such as McKayla Maroney, Aly Raisman, Gabby Douglasand Simone Biles.
Authorities accused Nassar of abusing at least 40 girls and women over a 14-month period.
He is currently active in both state and federal courts for sentencing.
