While some players have yet to complete Diablo 4’s campaign, others have already arrived and have been craving the first season of Blizzard’s epic action RPG for weeks. The time is almost here and we have answers to your most pressing questions.
When does Diablo 4 season one start and how long does the season last?
The The first season of Diablo 4 starts on July 20, although the exact time is still unknown. According to the organizers, the season should be about 12 weeks, and the first season ends on October 4. In Diablo 3, the season usually lasted 18 to 20 weeks. Therefore, unless Blizzard makes long breaks between seasons, it will change frequently in Diablo 4.

What’s new in season 1?

But even apart from that, there will be many changes in Sanctuary. Evil is everywhere and that’s why Blizzard calls it the “Season of the Malignant”. In the first phase, higher level enemies can appear as “evil” types and drop evil hearts. These can be linked into things like gems. Similar to the familiar items, fixed hearts add new features to your player, and more than 30 are coming with updates. Boss hearts can be farmed through special pits and cannot be removed from resources, only replaced with another heart.
When is the patch coming and is there any packaging?
In preparation for the first season, Blizzard will update the servers and release the patch. The repair will take place for three hours on July 18, with the exact time depending on your location. Once the process is complete, you can download the patch and start playing right away. Although the season doesn’t start until July 20th, you’ll be able to get some new content as soon as you install the patch.
