Crimean Bridge: Traffic stopped on the Crimean Bridge, reports of explosions

Cars was stopped on the Russian built Crimea Bridge due to the “emergency”, the authorities established in Russia said on Monday, while the Ukrainian media also reported explosion on the bridge.
SERGEY Aksyonov, the governor established in Russia, said that an emergency occurred on the 145th pillar of the bridge that connects the island of Crimea with the Russian region of Krasnodar. He didn’t say anything else.
The RBC-Ukraine news agency reported that an explosion was heard on the bridge.
Crimea was annexed by Russia from Ukraine in 2014, but the world recognized the side of Ukraine.
Russia’s Gray Zone channel, the closely followed telegraph channel of communication with Wagner’s army, reported two attacks on the bridge at 03:04 am (0004 GMT) and 03:20 am.
Reuters could not independently confirm the reports. There was no immediate comment from Ukraine.
It was not immediately clear what the incident on the bridge might mean for the UN agreement that allows the export of grain from the Black Sea to Ukraine. The deal was due to expire on Monday and had been in limbo since Sunday night.
A 19-kilometer (19-mile) road and railway bridge were destroyed by an explosion last October, in an attack the Kremlin said was orchestrated by the Ukrainian military. Ukraine tacitly acknowledged the attack months later.
Both Aksyonov and the governor of the Krasnodar region, Veniamin Kondratyev, said that they would establish a task force in their regions to solve the emergency on the bridge.
The Russian-backed government on the island said Crimea was provided with all basic necessities, but urged people not to walk on the bridge.
Serhiy Bratchuk, a spokesman for the Ukrainian military in Odesa, posted a picture on his Telegram of what appeared to be a line of a bridge in the distance, broken in half.
It was not immediately clear if this was related to the attack.
