Wallabies flanker Fraser McReight has revealed how his struggling side are preparing to turn things around against the All Blacks in two days at the MCG.
“We’ve got a week now so we’ve got a couple of days to get away and freshen up. We talk to ourselves before we get back together as a team,” McReight said on Stan Sport when asked how the squad would start again in the Bledisloe Cup.
“We have to stop the last two games and learn from our mistakes but move on quickly. As Ted Lasso says, ‘be a goldfish’.

Australia are now 0-2 under Eddie Jones 2.0 overs later losing in a 34-31 defeat against Argentina’s Michael Cheika at Parramatta.
“In 10 days we can be a completely different team and that’s the aim,” Jones said before the red hot All Blacks, 2-0 in the Rugby Championship after defeating the Pumas in Mendoza and the Springboks in Auckland.
Wallabies captain James Slipper was keeping it real after Australia lost back-to-back games against Argentina for the first time.

“A performance like this, we don’t go far in the World Cup,” said Slipper.
But Wallabies legend Tim Horan can see a light at the end of the tunnel.
“Like Eddie said, there’s four or five players like Quade Cooper coming back, Rob Leota, Angus Bell coming back tonight,” Horan said.

“They are very important players and you look at others who have played at Australia A, like Taniela Tupou. I think they are on the road and they are not far away.
“But the biggest test is the All Blacks.”
All Blacks coach Ian Foster was delighted with Saturday’s 35-20 victory over the Springboks in the national championship.
“The way we rode through the ebbs and flows in the game,” Foster said.
“They are a good team and we obviously hurt them early on with the way we played. I thought our desire to play above them early on was there and we were rewarded for that.
“But they came back. We talked before about protecting the lead, and they had a lot of experience on their bench in the third quarter. But I thought we paddled, so it’s a good step for us.”
