What Are the Disadvantages of Salesmate CRM?
No CRM is perfect for every business, and Salesmate is no exception.
- To begin with, there is no free version of Salesmate – This means that if your business is just starting out, you may want to look at other CRMs that offer a free plan.
- Salesmate does not have advanced ads – If you have a sales-oriented business, you will quickly realize that there are some advanced features that are missing from Salesmate (such as a landing page or creating an advertising campaign). However, even though this is limited, we still think it is good for marketing needs.
Salesmate CRM integration
Having all your favorite apps in one place is essential when choosing a CRM.
Therefore, we are happy to say that Salesmate has a strong integration offering.
Some of our favorite combinations include:
- Laziness
- QuickBooks
- Zero
- Magnifies
- Zapier
Here’s a screenshot of the app to give you an idea of what it looks like.
As mentioned, we use Slack for most of our communication within our teams at SBB. So, we were happy to hear that they offer an interesting integration with Slack.
Most of the platforms we test only offer basic integration with Slack through Zapier, but with Salesmate, it’s designed to work with your CRM.
As for Zapier, it’s possible to integrate with thousands of other apps using the platform in conjunction with Salesmate.
This means that the possibilities are endless.
How to Get Started with Salesmate CRM
Getting started with Salesmate CRM is as easy as taking candy from a child (don’t worry, we didn’t do that).
Whether you are a new business owner or a seasoned professional, Registering and setting up your account is easy.
In this installment of the Salesmate review, we’ll walk you through how it went for us at the Small Business Bonfire.
First, we visited their homepage (pictured below), where we were greeted by a smooth texture, a clear imageand a bright red call-to-action button.
Naturally, we clicked on the button labeled “start” (and, not surprisingly, we started).
We logged into our Small Business Bonfire email and took advantage of the 15 days free trial before we were promoted during our three months of probation.
Next, we were told to enter the following:
- First name and last name
- Company
- The world
- Phone number
- Password
This is what it looks like on our end.
From there, we created a brand name and selected companies. For our test, we chose business services – because they focus on helping businesses improve their performance by providing useful advice and information.
We were then told to choose how many people we would like, the position of our company, and what we were using Salesmate for.
For this session, we selected the leads, as we are often looking for new customers related to affiliate marketing at SBB.
After that, we were asked what tools we use in our group.
We usually use the following (adding more tones):
Finally, we verified our email, and we were logged in!
We were treated to a comprehensive setup guide that took us by the hand and guided us through the platform step by step with helpful videos.
Our conclusion from the ride was that it was amazing. 10/10—I would do it again!
Is Salesmate CRM Easy to Use?
Salesmate CRM is easy to use! In fact, we think it’s one of the best features on the platform.
I would go so far as to say that even those new to CRM can easily learn and use Salesmate.
They make complex processes such as automation feel like a walk in the park (without any coding knowledge).
Basically, if you want an easy-to-use CRM solution, Salesmate is one of the best options for you.
Salesmate CRM Customer Review
Salesmate offers 24/7 live chat to answer any questions you may have while using the platform.
In addition, they have a support page and a support group that allows you to solve your problems before talking to someone.
We reached out to their support team measure the response of their customers.
Since we had no issues with the platform itself, we asked a simple question about their Slack integration.
We weren’t expecting much based on the reviews we read online about Salesmate, so we were pleasantly surprised when we got a response within seconds.
I have used many CRMs over the years, both with my organization and with SBB, to test, and I can honestly say. Salesmate is one of the best. They have excellent customer support (based on our experience).
