Marketa Vondrousova claims the first set 6-4.
He enters cleanly with three points in hand.
Ons Jabeur appears to have fallen to pieces behind the set.
“He started well, he was able to get an early break, Jabeur. He tried to be aggressive and tried to control the game,” Jelena Dokic says in the Nine commentary.
“But Vondrousova, it was a flurry, really. She minimized the uncalled mistakes, she increased the points, she moved very well and she was definitely more consistent, especially as the set went on.
“There was a real opportunity for Jabeur. He went up 4-2, he served 5-2 and when he didn’t work from there Vondrousova just grew in confidence. The first big increase. He also served to like the Opening set 6-4.”
