I recently took out the window AC in my home office/studio and installed it in one of my living room windows to stop my kids from complaining. Now my office is on fire and I need relief. Installation:
The first step is to install Costway Air Conditioner and Dehumidifier and install window ventilation. I always find that the window frames that are supplied seem to be designed to fit vertical windows. As I’ve done with everything else I installed, I cut the opening to fit my window.
Connecting the hose to the AC was easy and it was ready to go.
This Costway 10000 BTU 4-in-1 Portable Air Conditioner with Dehumidifier works very well and keeps my office cool and comfortable. It’s quieter and takes up less space than my portable AC. Installation is easy and the remote and touchpad are very responsive.

- The air louvers in front of the AC should be powered and open/close as part of the on/off power.
Final thoughts
The Costway 10000 BTU 4-in-1 Portable Air Conditioner with Dehumidifier works very well both as an AC and as a dehumidifier, although I don’t use the dehumidifier very often. It is a well made unit and is much smaller than my portable AC. It does a great job of cooling my office/studio. Well done.
