Carlee Russell’s parents are speaking out for the first time since her return. In addition, they seem to confirm that the 25-year-old was kidnapped. Like The Shade Room Earlier, an Alabama woman went missing on July 13 after alerting authorities to a child walking on I-495.

Carlee Russell’s Parents Share Their “Help” After Their Daughter’s Return In A Recent Interview

Russell’s parents spoke to themselves NBC News in an interview published Tuesday. During the sit-down, Russell’s mother, Talitha Robinson-Russell, explained that she was “overjoyed” when her daughter returned on July 16.

However, the family had to avoid hugging the 25-year-old because “she was not well.”

“We tried to hug him as much as we could, but I had to stand up because he was not in a good condition.”

During the interview, Russell’s parents explained that they could not discuss the details of their daughter’s disappearance due to the ongoing police investigation. However, when asked if they believed that “there is a thief,” both parents agreed.

“Absolutely…absolutely,” Talitha Robinson-Russell confirmed.

In addition, Talitha Robinson-Russell explained that her daughter “found her way back” to her parents and “fought for her life.”

“… He really fought for his life … There were times when he had to fight for his life and there were times when he had to fight for his life.”

Details Of Carlee Russell’s Missing So Far

Like The Shade Room Carlee Russell returned home to her family on the evening of Sunday, July 16, after going missing on the evening of Thursday, July 13.

Russell reportedly disappeared after taking off while driving on I-495 Thursday evening. The 25-year-old said he saw “a small child walking beside them” and called the police to inform them. After hanging up, Russell went over to the child while he was talking to a family member on the phone.

However, the family member “lost contact” with Russell and reportedly heard screaming when the line “remained unanswered.”
