It is a modern hope Formula 1 cars will decorate Mount Panorama this year Bathurst International as part of a new cavalcade of single occupants.
Held on November 10-12, a rare opportunity is being offered at this year’s Bathurst International for top wheelers to grace the circuit.
The restrictions mean that single-seater racing is usually limited on the Mount and the show will be a rare opportunity for some of the fastest cars in the country to tackle Mount Panorama quickly.

Six sessions, each lasting 20 minutes, will be held over three days.
Both modern and innovative are invited to participate, with goals that include Formula 1 and IndyCar.
One car has already been confirmed for the show, which is the V8-powered S5000. The S5000 is the fastest racing car in the country.

A further nine places have been opened while those interested in joining are being asked to contact event promoters, the Australian Racing Group (ARG).
“Traffic management, vehicle safety requirements and driver capabilities will be part of the selection process to ensure the safest and most exciting results for competitors and fans alike,” ARG said.
Last year, Liam Lawson drove the Red Bull RB7 around Mount Panorama in an unprecedented stage.
It was also the second time that a modern Formula 1 car had gone to the iconic venue.
In 2011, Jenson Button set an unofficial record on Mount Panorama with 1:48.8s in a McLaren MP4-23.
Bathurst 1000 legend Craig Lowndes also took the reins from the car as part of an exchange where Button also drove a Holden VE Commodore.
Based on the results, it is possible that the profile set by Button may be broken.
This year’s Bathurst International is headlined by the TCR World Tour as part of the TCR Australia Series.
The Touring Car Masters will add a group of cars from New Zealand to its grid and wider lineup.
Bathurst International will also feature the National Trans Am Series, V8 Touring Cars, Porsche Sprint Challenge, and Production Cars.
The Bathurst International event is the final leg of this year’s SpeedSeries calendar, which runs from August 11-13 at Queensland Raceway.
