The Motorola Razr Plus it’s one of the best, if not the best, phones out there right now. The 3.6-inch screen display is the largest you’ll find on a foldable clamshell, and Motorola has tried to use the outer screen as much as possible – unlike what Oppo did with its display. Oppo Find N2 Flip.
I’ve had the Razr Plus for a week now, and I’m finding new ways to use the cover. Here are five amazing things you can do with it.
Moo’s time is the best
Motorola offers nine different cover styles to choose from, and “Moo time” is the best. It’s the guy (Moo, I believe) who lives on your cover. It is not a static image. Moo is very attractive and responsive to your tapes. You will never get tired of it because it also changes with the time of day.
For example, around 7 o’clock in the morning, it is brushing its teeth, and if you hit it, it will shoot through the window. In the evening, it’s coffee, rest, or working on the laptop – depending on the time of day. In the evenings, I watch it coming from work on the subway. It’s natural and playful. I love Moo.
Here’s how to choose a Moo watch face:
- Open it Favorites.
- Go to Outdoor Exhibition.
- Click Close the faces of the block clock.
- Choose Immediately.
Run any program you want

This is something that Oppo could have done with the Find N2 Flip, but instead, it reduced the screen to only widgets. Instead of having preset programs, you can choose each one programs you want to use on the cover screen. From YouTube to Microsoft Groups to social media apps like Twitter and Instagram, you can manage it all.
I have found it very useful when I want to reply to messages on Groups or WhatsApp. All I have to do is click on the notification, and open the chat. Click on the text box, and you get a full-featured keyboard for unlimited typing. I don’t feel comfortable writing on the cover because it doesn’t compress.
Quickly replying to a message on a small screen not only saves time from being overlooked but also makes things stand out. I don’t find myself casually checking social media after replying to a text. I texted and put the phone back. You can also run YouTube, if you want. I can’t agree, because there is a 6.9-inch display inside to see the content.
Here’s how to choose the apps you want to use on the cover:
- Open your phone but fold it.
- Turn right once to the right.
- Click on Pencil icon top right.
- You will find a list of almost all installed programs.
- Click to select the desired content on the screen.
- Click on A symbol top right corner.
- You will have all programs selected on Software the transparent screen of the cover.
Take stunning selfies with the rear cameras

Selfie cameras in general Android phones it’s not good – that’s one of the reasons I like it so much Asus Zenfone 8 Flip making. It allowed me to shoot with the primary camera, rather than the front-facing one, giving me a full view. The Oppo Find N2 Flip was the first time since then that I could use the rear cameras to click selfies with a decent screen.
The Motorola Razr Plus takes it to the next level by allowing me to quickly access the camera with a twist of the hand. There’s no need to open and tap the Camera icon to launch the app; just the twist is enough. It adds to the whole experience. I’ve been able to use the rear cameras as selfie shooters while also having full screen coverage, and it’s been a lot of fun.
Games designed to feature on the cover

The Motorola Razr Plus comes with seven pre-installed games with the option to download more. You get it Marble Pages, Astro Odyssey, Stack Bounce, etc. To download more games, you need to open the phone and select the one you like.
I love it Marble Pages which moves the marble as you turn and rotate the phone. Astro Odyssey it’s like the dinosaur games you get on Chrome when the internet isn’t working. I’m not a person who plays games on phones, but this is a good timekiller when the internet is not working, or you are tired and just want to kill a few minutes.
Lots of customization options

Most flip phones offer multiple widgets on their cover… and that’s about it. But Motorola allows you to customize the Razr Plus screen as you wish. You can choose different “panels”, which are important widgets that are built on the screen.
You get app launchers, artists, calendar, weather, sports, Spotify, Google Fit, and Google News to choose from. All of this is self-explanatory. The only annoyance here is for YouTube Music or Apple Music. You just have the Spotify band on the cover, and that’s it.
Here’s how to change panels:
- Unlock your phone.
- Click and hold on the cover screen.
- You will find a menu with three options: Switch panels, Images are shortcutsand Close the block clock face. Click on the first one.
- A horizontal list of panels will appear. From here, you can drag and drop the ones you want on the screen.
- Click on tick mark top right.
This is how all basic screens should look

The screen of the Motorola Razr Plus helps it stand out from the rest of the clamshell design. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 Rumored to have a large cover to rival Motorola, but we don’t know if you’ll be able to do much with it; Rumor has it, maybe not completely so be it.
Regardless of what Samsung does, the Razr Plus is still an impressive example of how any company making a foldable phone should handle the screen. Keep your display small with a few widgets. Give me a bigger screen, more settings, and the freedom to do whatever I want with it.
