How to make preservative-free Almond milk at home

To make this simple milk, you need 180 grams of almonds. Soak them in water overnight. Cover and refrigerate the soaked almonds.

Drain the water and peel the almonds and add them to the blender and add 4-5 cups of cold water and keep blending till the texture turns smooth, lump-free and flowy.

Next, if you want to add sweetness, you can add sugar. Also add in ½ teaspoon vanilla essence to give the milk a nice flavorsome texture.

Make sure, you start the process of blending slowly and then blend it at a high speed to ensure there are no particles.

Lastly, using a mesh cloth or sieve strain the milk and store in a glass bottle. This milk can also be tweaked as per taste, this can last up to 4 days in a refrigerator. Enjoy!
